Attorney Chase Molchin has been with Marshall P. Whalley & Associates, P.C. since 2009. As an aspiring trial lawyer with an interest in complex plaintiff’s litigation, Chase has been involved in multi-million dollar medical malpractice and personal injury cases since he began working for the firm. In fact, he obtained a half-million dollar verdict on his very first solo trial! Since that time, he has obtained millions of dollars on behalf of his clients.
Born and raised in Peoria, IL, Chase graduated from Peoria Notre Dame High School. During his time there, he played on the baseball, basketball, and football teams all four years, and was the only member of his class to do so. While in college, he played basketball for two years. At Valparaiso University, Chase met Annica, his beautiful wife. They now live in Valparaiso with their children.
When not working, Chase likes to camp, hike, and ski. He puts his competitive spirit to work in events such as triathlons and group cycling. In fact, he regularly travels to attend various cycling events in the surrounding states. His active involvement in the NWI cycling community makes him a passionate advocate for injured cyclists.

Chase graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree before going on to obtain a J.D. and a Master’s degree from Valparaiso University.
While at Valparaiso University, Chase was impacted by their model of value-base leadership. This helps him not only develop relationships with other lawyers, but also with his clients. He goes the extra mile to make sure that his clients are treated as unique individuals and that their concerns are addressed accordingly.
